I blurted!
Is there any way to take it back?
So what if I said it first?
Can you say I love you with no expectation?
Can you say I love you because it’s true?
Why is this a problem? Cause I got burned.
I don’t call you handsome, sir, though I love you most dearly: far too dearly to flatter you. Don’t flatter me.

I usually say it [I love you] as quickly as possible, but it’s usually because I want to avoid depositing cash on the night table when I leave.
Seriously (or a seriously as I get), I’ve only said “I love you” twice in my life. Once was to a woman who turned out to be psychotic and the other was to the woman I married. Fortunately they were not one and the same.
Only two women in your life got to hear, “I love you” makes it very meaningful.
